What difference does that make. If someone wants

contribute I for one will not even attempt to discern identity as any true
expert would not likely benefit from publicly supporting the BBS. What is said
will hold up to scrutiny or not and I suggest we focus on the goal not who is
who or who gets credit for what. I believe most are here out of a true passion
for space and exploring the unknown.
I have always been in admiration of the designer of the Great Pyramid in that
there is not one ( other than graffiti ) thing in it found to date that gives
any clue as to who the architect or builder was. *( I'm talking inscriptions
here )
The work is made that much greater by letting it stand on its own merit IMO.
Nothing gets done without many individuals working together and I would like any
plaque on the Orbiter to simply read "Created by Humans with a Common
Purpose"
Here is the Tongue in Cheek Version:
"Created by a bunch of Paranoid Conspiracy Theorists in a Spirit of
Suspicion and Mistrust"
LOL see I can lighten up too!
Serenity
Tilos, good idea (the first purpose)...

...but perhaps the plaque should somehow indicate that the project was
envisioned for the benefit of all mankind? I don't know just now how it might be
worded.

Won't there be a shock when the back of the Moon is

Why not, if that is the starting point so be it

lmao Tilos, a funny true thought imo.
What does it matter, the start, if when in the process, the middle and end are
fruitfull?
This is in no way the same as, or an endorsement of the 'what ever means
justify's the end" scenario. That is a license to pillage and plunder imo.

I disagree

And there are definitely signs of attempts to clue us sheeple in on a few
things. The problem is verification of suspected disclosures. The MoonCam would
cause a major stir I think as it would reveal something either on the way or
once it arrived. My guess is it would not survive the trip but there is only one
way to know for sure.
Another less expensive project would be for private citizens to begin doing
there own data collection on such things as radiation levels in major cities,
testing of air, soil and water samples etc...
I think there may be some unpleasant surprises but would like to know the Truth.
I am having a problem trusting at the moment and I don't like the feeling but I
have no doubt true friends will be self-evident in the end through their
actions.

Tilos, Unfortunately, I suspect that you could be correct.

So you're saying, Go ahead, Right?

I should review the JPL site and see if that helps.

The radiation hazards in certain areas are a good one to start on. The MoonCam
would surely have to plan for this if it near the hot spots.
Grendel
Tilos - The Lunar orbiter that...

they just crashed presumably surmounted the radiation hazards encountered in
sending back pix while circling the moon. There should be some data there
showing whether it was a problem or not, and what they did about it.

Thanks...
