In fact, I have come to realize that Art Bell is the only sane one of this entire culture.

1. He came in to a frightened pond of loony tunes----then took over. (Well done, Art!!!)
2. He took over--now flourishes--I am helping!!
3. He took all these fruitcake-freaks who should be otherwise institutionalized, and has lead them in great fervor and profit (as any good Feringee should do) and has become rich. (for myself, after one year of this nuthouse my book deals offers to me alone has made me slightly wealthy......)
4. He continues to propagate just the sort of terror these freaks thive on.
5. He is now my new hero in Ufology, however, I will continue to harrass and raunch him terribly since he thrives on this and its great for ratings and this lawsuit will go on for many many years as I have promised---too, my cut from this is simply out of this world--(trust me!). However, since I, like Art Bell, bank offshore with all assets neither of us will get anything from this lawsuit except for the pleasure of keeping you freaks on your toes and in full handwringing mode.
6. Art Bell has raped every fool in this culture as witnessed by the subjugation of Oates on his show--as has been reported to me by various listeners via e-mail. And everyone plays into it as a child seeks sweet candy from daddy.
7. Art Bell should always be the new champion of this dark wonder and I will support him forever behind the scenes as I have continued to do since 12-31-1998, since my staged, planned, throw-off from his show--a planned cabal between Hoagland, Art, and myself, to get new ratings and create a 'villian' within Ufology that all you freako insects could sink their teeth into (me). (I'm the 'Stephano' of Ufology-just like the real one for Daze Of Our Lives)

Whoa--again........

It was not a CAM in 1969. It was a 8mm Camera.

At current there is no VID-CAM, camera, or working anything sending anything from the moon to us.

The water probe quit sending data 3 weeks ago. X-60 prototype crashed on landing at Dryden. X-59 stalled on takeoff at Area-51. X-33 is scheduled for flight at Malstrom for December--first flight--but they won't make it since trouble with primary motors entails.

well, yeah I did but I'll explain :) I think the hoax was an attempt to see who among the newer fringe reporting sites would pick up the story as "truth" and run with it. ShadiePines Motel gave a disclaimer that it may or may not be authentic. AFAIK, no one else has picked it up...but then I haven't checked this morning. I'm not making any judgements as to who's doing the hoaxing or who the target is, so though I'm talking about SPM here I'm not meaning to implicate them in any dishonest or deceptive action. Does that help a bit? :)

that SPM is no longer run by Joe, if memory serves me correctly. I do believe it was given to another and Joe no longer has creative decision in it. They do say that the authenticity of the death certificate is not verified...but then again, it wouldn't take much to verify it. But that's the norm, isn't it? If its good enough for Art to do in the overnight and claim that he's just entertainment or reporting opinion, why expect anyone else to be any better. Hell, he's making money hand over fist. Its like the Internet sites in a way...do you choose to put up a site with integrity that helps people and doesn't make as much cash, or do you toss up a porn site that rakes it in?

The sad thing is that some people are not reading that the authenticity is not verified and they're passing it off as truth. Seems to me its also an illustration of how these things get carried around like burrs to drop and take root into big ol' UFOlogy weeds.

May I suggest that any more posts from "RAMS" be deleted on sight unless confirmed by a phone call, and if it is "RAMS" that he be told to keep a civil tongue in his head.

If he can contribute something, as opposed to tearing down and insulting people I would welcome his input, but - on form - that seems unlikely.

Thank you for the appreciation and good words.

In the beginning, Oct 16th, 1998, I oddly entered this place to report on the Montana UFO. Soon, within a few months, after many thousands of emails from UFOoers, I realized this place was insane.

After Peter Gersten of CAUS threatened to sue me after I had publicly questioned Hoagland and his data I realized this palace and all its minions were not only insane but certifiable. After being called cocksucker and other choice monikers for simply attempting in good faith to correct some online errors I then resorted to the person I am today. Piss on Ufology and everyone in it. All are insane and vermin of the lowest order. Maggots , actually.

UFOlogy is the vermin and cancer on our culture today and behind the scenes I have done and will do everything in my vast power to discredit it even beyond what it is already to the rest of the lay masses.

And I am and have succeeded in some measure.........

Even I find that difficult to believe. I would go one further and assert that very few left here fit into the ranks of the RAMS-defined "UFOlogy" by its methodology and assertion of speculation as fact. Why do I feel like I'm arguing against someone who thinks they're Q here in the trial of Hazy? :) Anyway, the way I see things there are two methods to deal with a project gone errant. You can either berate it into disintegration or do some weeding and nurturing. I've been very impressed with our attempts to do the former while some hang on to the latter.

I called the number and verified it to be Robert A.M. Stephens - the same individual I've spoken with each time I've called that number and asked to speak to RAMS.

I'm not so sure everybody else is rolling on the floor laughing at the posts he's made. I was hoping we'd see a kinder, gentler RAMS on his return (if he ever made one). You seem to beg the alleged RAMS to behave, but let him/them whatever run wild on the board. You show me one useful or positive thing that he/she has posted today. I apologize if my laughter has annoyed you. The whole thing seems like a big spoof. I don't think there is a RAMS, and if someone has taken his identity I think the computer program has got a bug in it.

If you are sucked in by his/unknown bluster and nonsense then, imo, the board will suffer and go back to the dark ages. I only came to these boards to try to stop the fight between David and Art. I stayed here because I found some very intelligent people that are fun, caring and discuss interesting and challenging topics. This alleged RAMS is a waste of everybody's time.

Yesterday, I spent the day at Arlington Cemetery, at the funeral of a real American hero! Having grown up with his son, I knew the man was special, but until yesterday I didn't realize just how special! Turns out this gentleman began his military career as a Naval Chaplain. Nothing exciting right? Except for the fact that he did two stints in Vietnam on the front line with one of the most brutally devestated battalions in Vietnam. I mean these guys did all the dirty work! Well needless to say, all the death and human destruction he witnessed in those years between 1967 and 1970...he was even wounded at the front on his second stint...even won the Purple Heart (a preist for God's sake)!

His reward? After his recovery, he was made a Commander and became the head chaplain at Arlington where over a three year period he performed more than seven hundred burial ceremonies (a significant number being casualties of Vietnam)!

They say he died of Parkinson's disease at age 64...they say that right before he died he lay in the hospital in the fetal position like a child...I say the man was eaten alive by death! I can't even imagine the issues of faith that must have haunted him throughtout his life!

The ceremony...the way they treated "one of their own," literally, was indeed something to behold! The current Commander, performing the same ceremony that "he" performed so many times...was overcome! Seeing the love from Naval officers, none of which knew this man...as they folded the flag, saluting with pride each fold...then placing it in the Commanders hands...who kneels before the widow, head down out of respect...placing the flag in her hands...was a moment I will never forget no matter how ling I live!

Right then, right there, amidst all the symbols of pain, suffering and death "for love of country"...I never felt more alive!

Kind of makes all this bickering, incivility, disrespect seem like such a waste of...well you know...

I am embarassed to have participated in the earlier rounds. It serves no useful purpose to achieve my personal goals and hopefully most here feel the same way.

Prehaps an empty board will speak louder than any measures "Hazy Editor" can take.

RAMS if that is truly you(used for lack of a better term)
and you read this I will say that the few times we spoke on the phone I genuinely liked the person I was talking to and find it hard to believe THAT person would say some of the things that are posted here under the "RAMS" moniker.

Maybe the lesson to be learned here is that there is no replacement for face to face contact if any level of trust and cooperation is to be achieved and maintained.

I guess I should be disappointed but these days the best answer for the foolish but determined is to just keep on moving and using whatever resources are available in that elusive search for something other than the usual smoke and mirrors.

Seems to be a lot "coincidences" happening. BTW I saw what may have been my first -- dare I say it -- (SWITS) Something Weird In The Sky. It was more of a distortion than an object though it had some grey/silver in it. Reminded me of a flock of birds undualting as they fly in formation. Might have been some type of reflection off some clouds but it was dark and I only caught a glimpse of it.

If this potty break lasts much longer I will start a more patient and methodical approach to my research and maybe even start documenting things and filing them so I have something to show for all this time we spend barking at the Moon.

Here's what the admins can do on a server.com board: sit and review every damn message hitting reload to see who's posted and then go into the admin page and delete them. That's called "delete on sight", not "banning". Banning is a function of software that allows you to restrict posts from sources, which server.com does not have the ability to do. While RAMS may be being irritating with his desire to post a new message every 2 minutes and call the next person that comes to his mind an insignificant lifeform, I seriously doubt that is enough to earn a delete on sight. Though I personally would be thrilled if he used his head for something other than a hatrack right now, that's not the issue. I just had to throw it in :P
