To be brief, I am still in the process of reconstructing the research I did last summer and fall that I thought you might find of interest. While I was searching for the obituary of Austin Stanton I ran across this http://www.spectrum.ieee.org/INST/mar95/obit.html . I don't know if you have ever come across the link between Varo, The Philadelphia Experiment, Morris Jessup, UFO's and the like during your research but I truly believe it is important. This obituary reinforces this belief in that it shows a connection between Austin Stanton and radar which may lead to the link with the Phildadelphia Experiment I have been searching for. I am hoping further research may prove that Mr. Stanton was one of the individuals that had access to the alien (?) technology that has so permeated our society in the last two decades. I have read somewhere that the Philadelphia Experiment was what actually led to our first contact. Inadvertently ripping a hole in space-time would certainly raise some eyebrows (if they have eyebrows) in an advanced culture(s) monitoring our progress.

TESLA'S COLORADO SPRINGS LIGHTNING OBSERVATIONS

As seen from a present day perspective, the time which Nikola Tesla invested into his 1899 Colorado "expedition" appears to have been some of his most productive. This might be because he had considered the previous ten years of research as practice for the work that was being conducted at the now well-known Experimental Station. Or perhaps it is from the many recorded observations dating from this period and the group of important patents would appear over the next few years. In fact, work on the applications for these fundamental radio patents began while Tesla was still in Colorado. One major account that is related in the Colorado Springs Notes and in an article titled "The Transmission of Electrical Energy Without Wires," has to do with an unusual natural radio phenomenon that Tesla observed during and after an intense thunder storm which passed close by his Colorado lab.

The receiver that he used appears to have built around an oscillatory transformer similar to the type employed for high frequency lighting. (See Nikola Tesla: Lecture Before the New York Academy of Sciences - April 6, 1897 for details about these devices.) Located on the primary side of the transformer were a sensitive device known as a rotating coherer and a mica condenser both connected to an elevated terminal and to ground. The primary side of the circuit also included a battery for placing a small dc voltage across the coherer and a mechanical switch known as a "break." During normal operation the make-and-break device would open and close about 72 times per second. In the secondary side of the circuit was another coherer and battery plus a delicate relay which responded by closing every time a lightning discharge occurred in the general vicinity. This type of receiver was extremely sensitive, being capable of recording effects as distant as an estimated 500 miles.

On July 4 Tesla writes that his observations began as the storm was approaching and still at a distance of 80 to 100 miles. The relay on the elegantly simple receiver must have begun to chatter practically as soon as all the connections were made. As the storm came closer, the relay continued to respond even as it was adjusted to its least sensitive setting. As the storm continued on past the lab is when, in Tesla's word's, "the most interesting and valuable observation was made." The relay was once again adjusted to be more sensitive and it continued to respond for a while and then stopped. After an unspecified time had passed the relay again responded for a while and then once again ceased to play. As recorded by Tesla this on again off again action continued to repeat itself with a period of about 30 minutes, at the very least six or seven times, on into the evening. He writes, "most of the horizon was clear by that time."

A number of people have speculated as to what, exactly, Tesla had seen that summer long ago. One proposal, put forth in the Proceedings of the Tesla Centennial Symposium, is that mechanical vibrations were being detected which were the result of terrestrial piezoelectric interactions associated with the lightning strikes. Another theory has it that the varying ground currents were the result of stationary waves created by reflections off the Pikes Peak mountain range. Tesla himself considered two other possibilities for the creation of what he believed were stationary waves anchored to their moving point of origin. The first and, at the time, to him least probable, was that they were the result of reflections from the point of the earth's surface diametrically opposite to the storm. More likely, in his mind, was that they resulted from reflections which took place within the storm itself, at a point very close to the origin of the initial wave packets.

In 1994 a new premise was set forth by Kenneth and James Corum in a paper presented at the biennial Tesla Symposium in Colorado Springs. The proposed model is an adaptation of waveguide theory and draws upon a method of treating radiation sources in a waveguide that calls for the existence of "images" which mirror an assumed dipole source. These images in combination with the source itself can be said to form what appears to be broadside array of radiating elements. Furthermore, the radiation from these sources, being coherent, can interfere and cast side lobes that appear as maxima and nulls along the waveguide walls.

It is proposed that rather than registering the existence of stationary waves, Tesla might have been seeing a wave interference phenomenon similar to that described above. The nodes and antinodes which passed by his point of observation might have been due to the superposition of partially coherent lightning induced VLF waves radiating from the primary source and an adjacent image and propagating down along the earth-ionosphere waveguide. This model bears more than passing resemblance to Tesla's preferred scenario that did not call for the reflection of waves from the antipodes. At the same time it is important to note that in the specifications for his Patent No. 787,412, Art of Transmitting Electrical Energy Through Natural Media Tesla stated that the lightning produced waves provided "unmistakable evidence that the disturbances created had been conducted from their origin to the most remote portions of the globe and had been thence reflected..." In the ten short months between July 4, 1899 and the May 16, 1900 application date what had caused this tremendous shift of opinion to where he now believe and practically record as fact what before had been assigned the lesser probability? Tesla himself gave us the answer in 1929 when he wrote:

"The chief discovery which satisfied me thoroughly as to the practicability of my plan was made in 1899 in Colorado Springs, where I carried on tests with a generator of 1500 KW capacity and ascertained that under certain conditions the current was capable of passing across the entire globe and returning from the antipodes to its origin undiminished in strength. It was a result so unbelievable that the revelation at first almost stunned me."

The Corums' 1994 analysis provides us with a highly plausible physical model to explain Tesla's lightning related observations during the stormy summer of 1899. It is also quite apparent that that year's ground breaking experiments with a specially designed high power electrical oscillator thoroughly convinced Tesla that he was seeing indications of electrical earth resonance. This raises the question: while in he was in Colorado Springs did Tesla ever observe any indications of interference between the outgoing waves that were induced by his experimental VLF transmitter and incoming waves reflected from the antipode?


The rotating coherer and associated circuitry

Tesla's VLF receiver must have been very similar to the circuit illustrated here. Each of the two coherers c and c' were constructed from a short section of 3/8 inch I.D. glass tubing capped with two brass plugs. The intervening space was partially filled with course nickel chips. The two adjacent batteries B and B' were adjusted with resistors r and r' to strain the devices to a point where they were just about to break down and become conducting. An incoming signal would drive the potential across the device beyond its threshold causing a much stronger battery current to flow. A clockwork drive mechanism was used to continuously rotate the small glass cylinders thus decohering the chips after each received impulse. It is now believed that coherers are uniquely suited to detect the particular type of natural radio phenomenon that Tesla observed in 1899.

An experimental study of the Rossby vortex meridional drift on the rotating shallow water has been carried out. One of the most distinguishing features of the Reverse Field Pinch (RFP) magnetic configuration for the confinement of thermonuclear plasmas is that the experimental equilibrium is a self-organizing quasi-minimum energy state which stays very close to the fully relaxed Taylor state [Taylor, 74]. Its dynamics around this state is governed by a magnetic field regeneration mechanism similar to some extent to the dynamo naturally occurring in other physical systems. This mechanism is driven by the non-linear interaction of global, low-m resistive magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) modes resonant inside the toroidal field reversal surface. Since the outcome of this non-linear process are coherent velocity and magnetic field fluctuations, which combine to produce the dynamo electric field, energy transport in the RFP core is driven by magnetic fluctuations. The purpose of this paper is to review the magnetic and thermal phenomenology of macroscopic dynamo events as measured in a large, high current RFP experiment, in order to contribute to a unified description of plasma relaxation, to study its effects on energy confinement and to provide more detailed experimental information for the investigation of enhanced confinement regimes recently found in RFP's. Capillary Discharges in Rotating Fluids.

The production of gas channels in liquids is of great interest for a number of applications, since such the channels make it possible to obtain reusable high-power capillary discharges with self-recovering capillaries, without the ordinarity observed degradation of the properties and damage to the surfaces of walls. We have performed simple experiments on the production of gas channels in rotating liquids and in liquids flowing around different bodies. A gas bubble with required composition was introduced into or remained in the liquid (water, vacuum oils, alcohol), and the liquid was made to rotate or rotated as it flowed through special structures. Electric breakdown was investigated in argon between two electrodes in the gas channel formed during rotation. We expect that gas channels have tremendous prospects for applications in many areas of physics; for example, it is possible to apply these channels for periodic pulses generation in soft x-ray lasers or for channeling powerful laser pulses and particle beams.

Nonlinear and Kinetic Effects in the Propagation of an Intense Elrctromagnetic Pulse Through the Atmosphere.

Kinetic models are derived for the description of intense electromagnetic pulse propagation through the Earth's atmosphere. The first, full model is based on a self-consistent solution to the set of Maxwell's equations coupled with the Boltzmann equation for free electrons in a two-polynomial approximation. The second, reduced model is based on the envelope approximation and is applied to quasi-monochromatic pulses. The capabilities and accuracy of both models are illustrated in several examples. In particular, we discuss the evolution of the pulse shape due to its absorption in the atmosphere and the evolution of the electron distribution function.

Resonance Self-channeling Ehergy Flows and Particle Acceleration.

The results of experimental investigation and theoretical consideration of an interesting physical effect, the self-channeling of directed energy flows (laser beam, electron and ion streams, electromagnetic radiation of plasma) under conditions of laser-spark and space plasmas, are represented. The excitation of intense electric and magnetic fields caused by a high-density current (up to 6�1011 A/cm2 ) of micro electron beams generated during propagation of a 100-250 ps laser pulse and optical breakdown in air near an Al-target are investigated experimentally. Measurements of electron density distribution with high temporal (100 ps) and spatial resolution ( is less then 1 �m ) by interferometry and absorption photography are presented. It is shown that under certain (resonance) conditions a self-channeling of laser beams in a narrow current channel (in the case of extraordinary wave propagating in anisotropic plasma with a strong asimuthal magnetic field B�75 MG) and particle acceleration can take place. In particular, Al IV-VIII ions can be accelerated up to 4-8 MeV just for lengths of 100 �m primarily due to collective acceleration mechanisms by a space charge of a micro electron beam, as well as a Fermi-like acceleration, as a result of ion interactions with a cylindrical wall of a self-generated magnetic field. It is shown also that analogous processes can take place in such astrophysical systems as pulsars and black holes during electric discharges near neutron stars.

An Analytic Method for Solving Inverse Problems and Regularization.

A method for solving a certain class of inverse problems, based on the use of the analytic properties of direct and inverse operators, is proposed. Uniqueness is proven, the existence criterion is formulated, and the duality principle for the solution of some inverse problems of radiophysics is established. The solutions to the Fredholm integral equations of the first kind corresponding to the inverse problems of local radioscopy, bistatic radar, and some others are found. New formulas for inversion of the Laplace and Stieltjes integral transforms are obtained.

Efficiency Optimization of the Profile of a Nonregular Decelerating System of a Relativistic O-Type Traveling-Wave Tube by Means of Atomic Functions.

The solution to the problem of efficiency optimization of a relativistic O-type traveling-wave tube by means of atomic functions, used for approximating the desired optimal profile of the decelerating system, is obtained. A new mechanism of the efficiency-optimal interaction is found, in which the sequential repetition of synchronous phase focusing of an electron packet (whose center is matched with the node of the field forces) and synchronous extraction of energy from an electron bunch (whose center is held in the maximum of the decelerating phase of the field) take place.

Diffusion of Low-frequency Magnetic and Electric Fields in Laminated Combination Shields.

In solving electromagnetic compatibility problems (of reducing magnetic fields in protected areas to small guantities -B is less then 10-8 T) are most often secured by passive screening constructions: multilayer shells with alternate magnetic and antimagnetic, conducting and isolating layers; three-layer shells bounded by dissimilar surfaces (cylindrical and spherical, spherical and spheroidal, etc.) with controlled eccentricity; shells with parametric inhomogeneities (geometrical and material); shells with magnetic biasing, etc. The fact that shell design becomes more complicated in this case requires that appropriate calculation procedures be developed. A general approach to the development of such procedures has been reported previously. Here, a particular screening system is described which has been designed by the authors and consists of a multilayer circular cylindrical shell and a multilayer spherical shell. In the authors' opinion, this design is capable of ensuring lower magnetic fields than known constructions. A procedure is proposed for calculating a screening system for low-frequency electromagnetic fields. This procedure can be recommended for use by engineers developing electromagnetic shields. The diffusion of magnetic and electric fields through a combination metal shield consisting of a single-layer circular cylindrical and a multilayer spherical shell that are, in general, not axisymmetric is considered. All layers of the shells have finite magnetic permeability, electrical conductivity and dielectric constant. The calculation procedure is based on the use of scalar potentials, approximate conditions at shell layer boundaries and theorems of decomposition of solutions to field equations in different coordinate systems. By way of example, a formula is presented for calculating the field screening factor for an axisymmetric arrangement of shells.

Oscillations in a Resonator with a Linear Nonstationary Dispersionless Medium.

The problem of oscillations of an electrical type in a cylindrical resonator with a coaxial post containing a linear nonstationary dispersionless medium is considered. The general scheme of searching the basis elements in the space of the solutions is presented, and calculations of the basis in the presence of a small geometrical parameter is performed. The required field is written down as expansions in time-dependent basis elements. A system of evolutionary equations with the initial conditions is obtained for the basis elements by expanding the Maxwell equations and initial conditions for the field. The solution equations are determined and discussed.

The Theory of Helix Wire Antennas of Small Radii.

The resonator is used as a oscillation system in a solid-state mm wave source. The resonator has a high Q-factor and a good match with the active element. Geophysical Fluid Flow Cell

The geophysical fluid flow cell (GFFC) experiment simulates a wide variety of thermal convection phenomena in spherical geometry. By applying an electric field across a spherical capacitor filled with a dielectric liquid, a body force analogous to gravity is generated around the fluid. The force acts as a buoyant force in that its magnitude is proportional to the local temperature of the fluid and in the radial direction perpendicular to the spherical surface. In this manner, cooler fluid sinks toward the surface of the inner sphere while warmer fluid rises toward the outer sphere. The value of this artificial gravity is proportional to the square of the voltage applied across the sphere and can thus be imposed as desired. With practical voltages, its magnitude is only a fraction of earth's and so requires a microgravity environment to be significant. The advantage of using this apparatus is that it simulates atmospheric flows around stars and planets, i.e. the "artificial gravity" is directed toward the center of the sphere much like a self-gravitating body.

The GFFC experiment flew on Spacelab 3 in April/May and operated for more than 100 hours during the mission. The experiment verified that dielectric forces can be used to properly simulate a spherical gravitational field to drive thermal convection. By controlling the relative importance of thermally driven buoyancy an entire spectrum of convective motion was observed, from the initial onset of laminar convection to fully turbulent flow.

The GFFC is scheduled to fly again on STS-73, the United States Microgravity Laboratory, mission 2 (USML-2). The experiments planned for USML-2 are:

Bifurcations and turbulence with symmetric heating (transition to turbulence, banana cell breakup, simulations of giant planets)
Transition between planforms at low rotation rates with symmetric heating (very long time scales)
Flow patterns and structure with latitudinal heating (baroclinic instability, non-uniform heating, ocean simulation)
Convection with low frequency gravity oscillations
The GFFC science team consists of :

In reviewing many of the "Free Energy" text and GIF files on KeelyNet and studying the concepts presented, especially those pertaining to the theoretical work of such luminaries as Whittaker and Bearden, perhaps my comments may provide some more assistance to advances in this new field of endeavor.
In BRDNLTR.ASC much information was given by Tom Bearden in response to the questions and points raised by Rick Andersen. There appears to be a discrepancy between Bearden's statements that "sum zero vectors" comprise or produce SCALAR WAVES or SCALAR POTENTIAL, and his later statements that Hooper type Bifilar coils (i.e.; Cadeuceus coils, coils comprised of "opposing" field windings) produce a situation in which both the AMPLITUDE and the TIME VARIABLE (+t), (-t) cancel out, resulting in NO NET EM EFFECT.

Bearden reveals this is due to the fact that two opposing "fields" are actually comprised of TWO pairs of Bidirectional Whittaker waves (the Forward time component wave AND the Reversed Time component wave) and that there are actually FOUR Bi-D Whittaker waves that cancel out not ONLY spatially BUT TIMEWISE as well. Bearden then says "Major Bummer!"

YET THE SCALAR PUMP POTENTIAL IN THE SWEET TRIODE USES JUST SUCH A 4-PAIR BIDIRECTIONAL WHITTAKER (INTERNAL EM) WAVE SET !!!

One also notes that IF nonlinear material was used in a Bifilar Hooper coil THEN the usual null effect would vanish and "spooky gravitational effects" are noted. Well, NONLINEAR material is placed at the focus of the 2 pump waves (4 Bi-D Whitttaker scalar waves) in the Sweet device.

"... This agreed with Whittaker, and also now offered a sudden inspiration as to when we got the G effect and when not. We were dealing with four waves, not two, in the opposing ordinary waves. We had two opposing normal waves and two opposing antiwaves, with the wave/antiwave coupling. Two ordinary waves 180 degrees out of phase would certainly cancel (spatially) their amplitudes (as is well-known in RAM materials and structures) but would not cancel their energies. The two antiwaves would do likewise, spatially. The point then became, so what would happen in the time domain? Here we got a shocker. The two antiwaves would cancel each other's amplitude SPATIALLY, and would add energies. But looking at the action (energy x time) aspect, their energies exist in negative time! Well, this meant that the antiwave ACTION would come out negative, and would then cancel the added positive wave ACTION because Sum Ewt + Sum Eaw(-t) = 0. Therefore the sum of the whole mess was zero! Bummer! We wound up with everything just vanishing, wherein all the action (angular momentum) seemed to vanish. Well, this showed that the notion of simply having waves 180 degrees out of phase of itself would not give gravity effects. So that's why mostly the Hooper approach didn't seem to do much. But if one added nonlinear materials to the core, then one broke the linear cancellation."

"...The magnitude of the electrostatic scalar potential created by the accumulated charges (spray pumps) represents the local magnitude (flux/spray density) of that virtual photon "spray." It has nothing to do with the mass of the charges, except that nature has built those particular masses to be "little self-powered spray pumps."

"When we "charge up" an accumulator, such as a steel sphere or a capacitor, we push in the electrons so that they pack closer together, and we thus increase the virtual photon spray density because we've accumulated more sprayers in a confined volumetric region. The volumetric spray density represents the magnitude of the electrostatic scalar potential (ESP), in this analogy."

"Contrary to conventional wisdom, Whittaker proved that this scalar potential -- this "spray density" -- is internally organized into hidden, flowing, bidirectional EM waves. EM forcefield wave energy is flowing in both directions. In the electrostatic scalar potential, the net Poynting vector resultant is zero, but it is a "sum-zero system" composed of an infinite set of opposite but equal finite Poynting vectors. That zero vector resultant is a scalar EM potential. It's got lots and lots of EM energy flowing both in and out simultaneously, but these flows are normally balanced and in equilibrium."

NOTE: THE "ZERO SUM" exists WITHIN the structure of the Scalar Potential ALREADY. There is NO NEED to "oppose" ordinary ES or EM "fields" because as said before they are ACTUALLY "effects" caused by a SCALAR POTENTIAL ESTABLISHED BY ELECTROSTATIC CHARGES OR MAGNETIC "FLUX". Comments by Bearden regarding "ZERO SUM" actually applies to the INTERNAL MATHEMATICAL COMPONENTS of SCALAR POTENTIAL. Early writings indicate that T. Bearden realized this fine point only later.

"Now, of course, one can take equation [1] above and apply Whittaker 1903 to it, and mathematically decompose the PHI-sub-q term into a set of hidden bidirectional EM wavepairs, in a harmonic sequence."

"...The source already acts as a "dipolar antenna" to continually receive "scalar potential" current dPhi/dl (massless displacement current) from the vacuum."

PHIq is MASSLESS DISPLACEMENT CURRENT aka electric charge. This being composed of Bi-D wavepairs, is identical to electrostatic scalar potential.

THEN the 4 waves:

"Then all that remains to be done to tap this vacuum-furnished "pumping" energy, is to utilize standard 4-wave mixing theory from nonlinear optics, and introduce a small signal wave input. By standard textbook theory, up to all the energy in the pump waves will then be emitted by the nucleus as a phase conjugate replica (PCR) (time-reversed replica) of the signal wave input."

Treating the stress-pumped nonlinear nucleus as a PPCM, it follows that the stress energy of the vacuum can be tapped by a 4-wave mixing mechanism in the atomic nucleus, to provide amplified phase conjugate EM wave outputs from the atom in response to small signal wave inputs." In other words,
[the following is my paraphrase because I could not reproduce his ASCII diagram properly in HTML -- R. Andersen]
pump wave A1 is acually a pair of bidirectional Whittaker waves, propagating into the phase conjugate mirror (PCM) from direction A; A2 is another Whittaker pair coming into the PCM from the opposite direction, B; (and that actually adds up to four waves in all: [2(-t) x 2(+t)]).
A3 is the input signal "tickler" wave, which may be quite weak in power/intensity.

These "three" waves, then, A1, A2 and A3, are all aimed at the PCM. In response, it "echoes" back a 4th wave, the time-reversed, phase conjugate reflection A4... which may be enormous in power level as compared to the tickler A3. The PC wave backtracks down the path taken by the tickler wave A3 and delivers its power to the spot where the original "tickling" source is located.

PCM: Silicon, Barium, ionized plasma, granite (has silicon), crystal (SiO2).
PUMP WAVES: Set up Scalar STRESS potential. Even NON-OPPOSING waves or charge accumulations can do this. (READ the quotes ...)

In Tesla's experiment, A1 and A2 are NOT required BECAUSE "earth's fiery core" ALREADY contains the stress.

Of course, when one OPPOSES two equal vectorial forces such as would occur if two capacitor plates are charged to the same (-) potential, or if two electromagnets are situated such that the N poles face each other, then one would derive the infamous ZERO NET VECTORIAL SUM OF FORCES.

In reality, one would observe a net EFFECT of zero on an object or substance placed within the focus of the opposing forces. However, THE FORCES ARE STILL THERE. In Millikan's oil drop experiment (by which the charge of the electron was established) two opposing plates charged to equal polarity impelled an oil drop to hover IN THE CENTER between plates. The forces' net effect on the oil drop was zero, therefore the oil drop remained motionless. However, the fact that the oil drop did NOT fall to the lower plate indicates that the FORCES STILL EXISTED.

Further, in a certain fusion reactor design, known as the Magnetic Mirror concept, a ionized plasma is held between a set of OPPOSING magnetic field coils. By increasing the flux strength of the opposing coils in an equal manner the VECTORIAL SUM of the opposing magnetic forces is ZERO but YET THE PLASMA WILL BE COMPRESSED from a former state of motionless equilibrium with respect to the focus of the opposing forces. The fact that plasma compression OCCURS indicates that THE FORCES CONTINUE TO EXIST even though a mathematical VECTORIAL ZERO SUM of forces exists in the arrangement.

Tesla's scalar wave unit consisted of a transformer enclosed within a zinc box in which a primary was interfaced to TWO OPPOSED ("bucking") SECONDARY COILS.

What is the point of all this? Well, apparently NON-OPPOSED flux or accumu- lations of electrons are accompanied by SCALAR POTENTIAL. The scalar potential is ALREADY composed INTERNALLY (according to Whittaker, not Bearden) of pairs of temporally (not spatially) opposed bi-directional Whittaker EM waves (virtual photon and anti-photon pairs, which is a SPIN-2 GRAVITON). One does NOT have to "oppose" coils or charged spheres to set up a scalar potential. HOWEVER, if one DOES oppose coils, capacitor plates, etc., then although the FORCES involved (i.e; Scalar POTENTIAL, a STATIC ordering, et al) do NOT vanish, their NET EFFECT on something DOES. This corresponds to the mathema- tical VECTORIAL SUM ZERO.

The Scalar potential associated with the opposing forces (i.e. that of which the forces are "effects") STILL EXISTS. Therefore, the potential "activates" the area of SPACE/VACUUM where that particular scalar potential exists, and IF a NONLINEAR MATERIAL (i.e.; MASS) is placed within the scalar potential activated zone THEN the 2 pairs of normally "null effect" internal Bi-D Whittaker waves EXERT AN EFFECT ON THE MASS.

How? The Scalar potential in the zone still exists. This vastly increases "virtual photon exchange" (virtual photon/antiphoton) with the electron shell and nucleus. But because a nonlinear material is placed at the focus THEN a significant percentage of anti-photons do NOT interact with the nucleus. The VP exchange being vastly increased is what constitutes the state of the matter being "activated". The non-interactive antiphotons then appear as "Time Reversed displacement current". The Scalar Potential (paired Bi-Directional Whittaker Waves) are thus DECOMPOSED by NONLINEAR MASS into FREE time reversed EM waves and time forward waves.

Probably the reason any effect at all has been observed in the Hooper Motional Field generator (without a nonlinear core) is because in practice the two opposing fields were not EXACTLY equal.

IN CONCLUSION:

The Scalar Potential can be set up whether opposing forces are established or not. But in either case, scalar waves or potential requires INTERACTION with nonlinear matter in order to produce any time reversed phenomena.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

The Sweet device could be utilized at very high power outputs to liquefy cryonic substances such as Helium, using no pumps or bulky moving parts. Now, what would happen if a time reversed current were established in a supercon- ducting field coil, setting up a time reversed magnetic field? If the coil containing the perpetual time reversed current were immersed in liquid helium, would the effect of the current maintain the liquid state of the Helium, which in turn would maintain the superconductive state; which in turn MAINTAINS THE TIME REVERSED CURRENT FOREVER?

* In the Herbert Schirmer UFO abduction case (Nebraska 1960's) the reptiloid alien stated that their craft were propelled by "reversed magnetism".

* In the Betty/Barney Hill abduction, the inside surfaces of the UFO were "freezing cold."

* Some witnesses who stood DIRECTLY UNDER a low altitude disk felt weightless and AS IF TIME HAD STOPPED.

Do some UFO's use time reversed power?

* Many UFO contactees have recieved ideas and designs from aliens for "FREE ENERGY DEVICES"(!!!). The late Harrold Menger was one example.

Since the SOVIETS and US work on scalar electromagnetics, now UFO type craft have been REPEATEDLY seen coming FROM and flying OVER the Groom Lake CIA AirForce Area 51 at night. Probably, someone has gone a lot further with this than Dr. Sweet or Col. Tom Bearden have suspected. The CIA has a MULTI- BILLION DOLLAR budget (all unaccountable) to invest in this type stuff-- and they HAVE used Area 51 for years.

Just wanted to explain my logic behind trying to figure out a rational explanation for the acronym RAINBOW. LASER stands for Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation. Defined by Webster's as a device that utilizes the natural oscillations of atoms or molecules between energy levels for generating coherent electro-magnetic radiation ..... After reading Rick Anderson's, Bearden's and someone named Ed's posting on the web a logical meaning for the RAINBOW acronym became clear.

Not a very scientific approach but I never said I was a scientist. In my opinion this fits very well with what Bearden et al have to say. I need to do more research on Whittaker waves, but the comments I've read on their being 4 waves would explain the orthogonal part of the acronym. The question is if a RAINBOW has been invented -- what can waves. if you want to make something invisible (not able to be seen) then you have to make it non-reflective and I it do? Some very interesting things I suspect. Light, radio waves, radar etc... are all part of the em spectrum. We "see" relected light, RADAR "sees" reflected radio suppose non-absorbing. The only way to do that is to excite the matter to a point that it is outside of the visible range of whatever or whoever you don't want to see you.so that whatever wavelength is being used for "vision or reflection" passes throught the matter rather than reflecting off of it or being absorbed by it. If the acronym fits the alleged objective of invisibility then it is at least circumstancial evidence supporting the Philadelphia Experiment legend. The time travel aspects are a whole other can of worms but based on Bearden et al's postings temporal effects would be a likely side-effect in my opinion of a RAINBOW device. I haven't given much thought to the gravitational (if there is such a thing as gravity) effects but I will.

I doubt it. In 1919, Tesla stated that there absolutely was no Heaviside layer (ionosphere in those days). In 1933, he emphatically announced that no useable energy could ever be drawn from radioactive sources. What a bum.

There are many of Tesla's patents, if you really look at them, that are ridiculous and are of no use themselves. Tesla was not god and didn't have all the answers.

If we had listened to the bum Edison, we would be using direct current and woudn't have the EM pollution problem we do today - because of Tesla's AC.

Based on what I know your statement about DC is illogical as it would have required a transmission line with little or no resistance to be viable. In fairness and acknowledging my lack of in-depth knowledge I will check out your comments.

Some interesting reading and I have found mainstream scientific research to support some of what is said here (unlike RCH). I have much more reading to do but solitions, side band resonance's (which carry mostly information in radio) and other related topics seem to show a lot of promise. Based on my research it appears likely that the goal of the Phil. Exp. if it took place would have been to create an artificial resonant cavity around the ship. According to particle accelerator sites the oblate sphere shape of the field around the ship as described by Carlos Allende is one of two geometries that are viable in creating a resonate cavity (spherical is the other). None of these ideas are new but if I can separate the relevant data from the BS (and I believe I can) I will be able to submit you a proposal for an experiment designed to determine if anomalous effects can be demonstrated under controlled conditions. Sometimes not being a scientist by trade frees the mind from preconceived ideas that can stifle creativity and innovation.

Note: Remember reading an interesting article on anomalous events associated with tornadoes (The embedding of one object in another with no apparent damage to either). Our earth is an absolutely amazing place. Perhaps the fact that resonance's come in triplets is the signature of God on his creation - representative of the Holy Trinity concept.

Remedios Varo was of Basque descent - a people believed by some to be the closet genetic link to our past visitors. Her father Rodrigo de Varo (??) was a Hydraulics/Fluidics Engineer and was purportedly interested in alchemy. A piece on magic mirrors possibly being technogical relics of ancient times stated that a family in Spain had such a mirror. It would be quite interesting to know if Remedios Varo had access to such an artifact. She was quite fond of paintings of human/animal hybrid beings - maybe they posed for her. I get sidetracked sometimes - what can I say?

I am now researching a Edsall Class Destoyer Escort named the Stanton 247 (If the PE is an actual event I'm fairly certain the Eldridge being the ship is misinformation). I am also looking into ULTRA and ASWOP to see if Austin Stanton was recruited (his background was well suited to the anti-submarine program) to help. The ULTRA pesonnel would have naturally gravitated to an event like the Roswell crash.

I grew up reading every sci-fi book I could get my hands on. Sometimes the Truth is Stranger than fiction. I haven't ever actually had the privilege of talking to an EBE so I still don't totally rule out the possibility that we are chasing the "white rabbit", nevertheless, I have been awakened to a renewed interest in mind/soul/spirit, science, mathematics and physics that continues to grow each day.

This is only a portion of what I have been researching. I also have some things related to your ZPE research that tie back to John L. Stephens description of a "black pedestal of an unknown material" in a Mayan structure (Mayan God of the Smoking Mirror ?) and ancient magic mirrors and a strange lighting system that allegedly was used by Tibetan Monks that was activated by striking a copper gong with intricate patterns of silver threads in it. I would like to find some of these relics and subject them to lab analysis. I believe that such research could prove useful in antennae design (i.e. a circular or spiral resonating antennae)

We calculate the line tension of a tilted stack of magnetically coupled two- dimensional pancake vortices held at the ends and show that the line tension becomes negative at an angle of 52� . We further calculate the tilt modulus at arbitrary angle theta and show that it becomes negative starting at the same angle 52� for long wavelengths. A structure for the vortex line is given, which is shown to have a lower energy.
